MALAYSIA’s number one non-national car, the Toyota Vios has received some minor change this year to make it a better value for your money.
The changes include smoke treatment for the headlights, revised front fog lamp, the 1.5G grille now standard across the variants, larger 15-inch 12-spoke wheels and a new optional 5-piece aerokit.
On the inside, the seats get new fabric which uplifts the look and feel of the cabin.Safety wise, UMW Toyota now installs two front airbags, pre-tensioners and force limiter for both front occupants.If you require more, UMW Toyota also offers two types of infotainment systems, DVD-AVX and the DVD-AVN, the later is a touch screen variety that includes a navigation system.For those young and young at heart, you can opt for the optional TRD-Asia suspension kit that comprises the coil springs and dampers, reducing the ride height by 10mm lower.The new Toyota Vios will be available in all Toyota showrooms throughout Malaysia from 22nd June 2012. Six grades are available to suit different personal tastes, requirements and budgets, which means there is a Vios for almost everyone.
